DAILY VIEWS ON NIFTY & STOCKS - 02.11.2010 (Tuesday)

Nifty Futures 11am Call

11am: Nifty Futures opened today at 6156 against its previous close of 6152, and is currently trading at 6148. It has so far recorded a HIGH of 6149 & a LOW of 6133. Asian cues are positive, US futures are in green, and European markets may open little changed today. The trading range for NF today is likely to be 6130-6210. Nifty is in a consolidation mode, and will not give up its recent gains till a new life time high is done with.

Intraday Nifty Trade

11.36am: Bought nifty at 6142. Target 6200. SL 6109.

3.19pm: Booked out at 6154. Gain 12 points.

Short Term Stock Call

11.54am: BUY Mahindra Satyam now at 79.40. Target by 20th Nov is 100.

    Today's intraday nifty trade will be to go LONG. Wait for a level just near 6140, go long at that level with SL at 6109 for a target of 6200.

    RBI hikes repo and reverse repo rate by 25bps each, keeps CRR unchanged at 6%. This was on expected lines with no negative surprise. This is neutral as far as markets are concerned.

    Ganesh, I agree with you. With RBI policy now out of the way, nifty will proceed towards a new life time high in 10-15 trading days.
