SPICE JET HAS FALLEN INTO RIGHT HANDS.

Spicejet, FV 10, CMP 89, 52 Weeks Low 43.50, 52 Weeks High 97.45. Equity 385cr.

The company is all set to clear off the accumulated losses out of share premium on new shares, and also the profits being generated in the operations. The turnover for the last 3 years has seen a consistent 30% growth, and is likely to show a growth of almost 50% for the current year. From a cash loss of more than 100 cr per quarter, the company has now come into quarterly profits, and I exect them to earn a net profit of more than 120 cr for the current year.

The recent change of management by which the company got into financially sound hands of Maran of Sun TV group is an absolute positive for this scrip.

My target for this share is 300 in 3 years. Downward Risk: 15%.

1.30pm: I have been saying that nifty would see 6300 in November, and that it will record its new life time high within a maximum of 2-3 weeks of Deepavali.

God! It appears nifty will give Deepavali Gift to all those who are long by recording a new life time high in Muhurat trading itself.

Nifty is all poised to surpass its previous life time high in today's Muhurat Trading, but profit taking could step in as most of the players would like to book profit in the very first trading day of their traditional accounting year.

The company established 1992 is a diversified player in DI Spun pipes, pig iron, cement & power. From a turnover of Rs 335cr in 03/2006, it has recorded a steady annual grown every year to record a turn over of Rs 710 cr in 03/2010. The last year annual N/P was Rs 57.94cr against equity of 39.76 cr. A consistent dividend paying company.

Though margins have been under pressure due to over capacity & competition, the management of late has been successful in reducing interest cost by better fund management. The last quarter (09/10) NP was 20.43 cr giving a quarterly EPS of more than 5.

BUY at cmp 63 for a target of 120.

First Report of their Block Buster Robot/Ethiran is encouraging. Budget RS 200 crore,including Rs 45 crore to Rajinikanth, Rs 50 crore on promotion and Rs 6 crore to Aishwarya Total revenue in first two weeks Rs 300 crore, including Rs 88 crore from Tamil theatrical, Rs 50 crore from overseas rights, Rs 23 crore from Hindi rights, Rs 27 crore from Telugu rights, Rs 25 crore from satellite rights, Rs 17 crore from home video, Rs 10 crore from audio rights Total number of prints 2,250 across 3,000 screens.

Once the results of the above movie gets added to their Balance Sheet by way of Q3 results, Sun TV will get into 4-digit mark in Jan 2011.

Those investors who have failed to buy SUN TV as a potential mulitbagger earlier, will have a last chance to add on to their portfolio at 511 now.

Dont miss the bus.

1. Took positional short yesterday at 5424 with SL at 5461, Reduced the SL to 5447 today.

2. Took intraday short at 5440 today with SL at 5447.

Both trades SL hit, loss on first trade 23 points, loss on second trade 7 points. Total Loss 30 points.

INSTEAD

If I had converted the positional short into positional long at say 5424 with SL at 5417, the position would have been loss on one trade would be just 7 points, but the gain on the other winning trade would have been 40+ points.

Practically the above kind of trades is possible due to nifty remaining rangebound for most part of the trading hours. Only condition for this kind of trade is that we should take one trade in one account and the other trade in some other account, and that both trades should be taken with SL of less than 10 points.

We will try this kind of hedged trades from tomorrow. If we get good results, the trades can be done in big lots.

The company, formerly known as Videocon Communications, is in the business of Integrated Digital TV with built in set up box. The last 5 quarterly turnover shows a constantly growing turnover, i.e. 186, 223, 246, 271 & 310 crores. The EPS for the current financial year ending 30.09.10 will be 10+. The company is all set to record an annual turnover of 1000 crores for this year. And the company has a relatively low capital base of just 7.50 crores.

My target for this share is 100 within 6-9 months, which means it will double from the current market price of 47 in less than a year. And a bonus issue for the first time in its history is a distinct possibility.

BUY for a target of 1000!!!

Hindustan Composites (formerly known as Hind Ferrado) has a very low capital base of 5.50cr, and with a 52 weeks low of 156 & high of 480 is all set to touch a 4-figure mark within 6-9 months. The normal operations of the company may fetch a net profit of only 1 cr on a total turnover of 80 cr, giving EPS of Rs 2. But the company has received in last quarter of 2009/10 a whopping land sale proceeds of 566 cr. Net of income tax, the company is holding around 480cr which is almost 90 times its share capital. The interest income alone on this sum will give the share an EPS of 80-90 per share. A sure bet for 4-figure mark in 6-9 months. BUY at least 100 at CMP, add 100 more if it falls below 380, hold the investment TIGHT till 1000 mark. If the management is able to utilise this amount in a highly profitable project like real estate development, the profits could be still higher.

FLOATING STOCK of the share is very less. I could buy 100 shares in 3 days with an average rate of Rs 429 by placing my small buy orders on top of the bid list every day. Turnover is also very less because of low floating stock.

BUY at CMP (429), hold it tight, and get out only above 800/1000.
