DAILY REPORT ON NIFTY BY kadiyali - 06.08.09 (Thursday)

Nifty Futures Morning Call

11AM...Nifty Futures opened today at 4682 against its previous close of 4705, and is currently trading at 4673. It has so far recorded a HIGH of 4682 & a LOW of 4651. Asian cues are mixed, US futures are flat, and European markets may open in positive today. Nifty will trade in negative today for the first 2-3 hours of trading, will get back into positive thereafter, and will end the day in positive above 4700. NF is likely to trade in the range of 4630-4740 today.

Trading Calls

2.41PM...NF now at 4639. Go LONG. SL 4591. Target 1 - 4689.  Target 2 - 4719.

2.51PM...NF now at 4590. Stop Loss of above trade is triggered. Sorry.

Market Closure Report

Nifty future closed the day at 4585, down 120 points, after touching a high of 4730 & a low of 4552.

NIFTY OUTLOOK

Nifty stopped its surge beyond the tough resistance zone of 4710-4730 for the fourth day today, and ended up losing heavily to close the day at 4585, down 109 points. FIIs net sold 371cr & DIIs net bought 257cr. Nifty has now landed just above its crucial support level of 4550-4580, the maitenance of which is absolute necessity for the bulls to sustain the current rally.

Nifty levels for 07.08.09 Friday are: PIVOT 4621, R1 4683 & R2 4780, S1 4524 & S2 4462.

    malai, NF will definitely go above 4700 today, so NF trade should be to go long, if you wait for another 10 minutes you may even get a 4650 level. If you do not want to wait, go long at current level(4668), and if it falls below 4650, again average.

    jittery, tomorrow morning 4900CE will achieve 135 target, upon which you can convert the profits into 4500PE, which is now at 81 & tomorrow it will come below 65.

    I've 3 lots of 4800CE @100. I was waiting for your call and I didn't sold it yesterday and today. Now suddenly it came to 97. Not sure what happened.Please suggest.

    Dear Kadiyali,

    After waiting for so many days, finally bought CE 4900 at 60.50. Resisted my temptation of buying it yesterday at 80 and thank god was saved by your msg to buy only below 65.
    Hope your target will be achieved tomorrow.

    Rajat, 4900CE is good only below 65, and for the last 4 days it has come below 65 & gone up above 80. Hope this time having fallen below 65 again, it will go beyond 100.

    Market is going down, is it because of continuous bank strike ,and brokers will insist for the payment for delivrey.if it is so is it better to keep the 4900 CE.

    After seeing your call, I have taken position on 4 lots of 4800CE at 85/-.

    Your stoploss tirggerred now, Shell i close my psition today its self with either profit or loss.

    Whatever long position on hand can be held, people who were stuck earlier in shorts can exit the short, for going fresh long, wait till nifty recovers above 4600.
    Looks like bears have taken advantage of bank closure due to strike, and stuck the bulls.

    Dear Kadiyali,

    I got 6 lots 4800CE @ 77 and 6 lots 4900CE @ 53 I think, i'll hold the same as my cost is not too expensive. what's ur view ?

    Maybe next week, i can book some profits in these options.

    Nifty will recover tomorrow. Nifty gave people who were stuck in short an opportunity to exit. Longs can be held.

    Bought 1lot of 4900CE at 63 do u advice to average with 1more if it dips much deeper tomorrow?

    i also went long at NF 4580 after the tigger of the SL on ur earlier call.. do u think i shd hedge it tomorrow with some puts?
