DAILY REPORT ON NIFTY BY kadiyali - 10.08.09 (Monday)

Nifty Futures Morning Call

11AM...Nifty Futures opened today at 4541 against its previous close of 4480, and is currently trading at 4473. It has so far recorded a high of 4548 & a low of 4457. Asian cues are positive, US futures are slightly in negative, and European markets may open in red due to profit taking after Friday's gains. Nifty will trade in both positive & negative alternatively, and close the day in positive. NF is likely to trade in the range of 4410-4560 today.

Market Closing Report

Nifty futures closed the day at day's low of 4388, down 92 points, after touching a high of 4548.

NIFTY OUTLOOK

Nifty faced the bear hammering for the third day in succession, and closed the day again in negative at 4437, down 44 points. FIIs net sold 640cr & DIIs net bought 86cr. Nifty is now just above a solid support zone from where a bounce back is quite likely.

Nifty levels for 11.08.09 Tuesday are: PIVOT 4467, R1 4533 & R2 4629, S1 4370 & S2 4304.

    I have bought today RCOM call of 270 at 12 as per your recommendation... Should i hold on to it with a target of 20 or book loss... Thank you...

    As i stated above, tok position on 2 lots of 4600CE at 87.50/-.
    Please suggest when should i book profits and alert me if some thing is going to change the direction.

    Now i am carrying 1lot RCOM270 @11.70 and 2 lots of 4600CE @87.50

    srini, 4900CE will get the recommended buy price of 65 if not today in a day or two.

    Sold my 4600CE at 91/-( Bought at 87.50.
    Now carrying only RCOM270 CA to tomorrow.

    Sir,
    Today I didn't trade anything.I am still holding 4800 CE at 51 and RCOM 270 CA at 12.3.
    I hope this both will turn to profit in this week itself untill wait and watch.so.for i didn't took SAIL AND NIFTY PE4500.

    Didnot trade anything today, Holding all longs of the opinion that tommorrow there will be huge short covering pushing the market up i hope we will get better rate to exit our longs than today

    Sir, as suggested by you, now i am doing paper trading in nifty options.
    But again inthis trade also, I stuck up with 4900 call.
    I bought 4900 call (2lots) at 80 (tried alot to catch at 65 or lower)thinking that your tgt of 135 will be acheived...so some small profit was also ok from the level of 80. But now its values is around 18.45. Now i dont want to average it as it mite end up in loosing more amt. Shall I buy 4200/4300 put now?
    Please let me know what strategy I should follow to safe the invested amount.?
    I read your comment that long positions shd be on hold but do you think that Nifty will reach 4700/4800 now from this level?
    Looking forward for your advice and thanks for your kind act for option blog.

    I am holding 1500 Shares for 4700CE @ 120Rs. In a big Loss now and tensed too . What should i do , pls advise . It is the biggest mistake which i did in my life for buying the NiFTY in big Quantities while falling on last to last thursday

    Please advise , I need to take the decision by this week itself
