DAILY REPORT ON NIFTY BY kadiyali - 31.08.09 (Monday)

Nifty Futures 11AM Call

11AM...Nifty Futures opened today at 4674 against its previous close of 4737, and is currently trading at 4683. It has so far recorded a HIGH of 4696 & a LOW of 4665. Asian cues are negative, US futures are in deep red, and European markets(London is closed today) may open in negative today. Nifty will trade almost full session today in negative, and will close in negative breaking its 7 days of consecutive positive daily close. Trading range for NF today is likely to be 4710-4630.

Trading Calls

11.36AM...NF now at 4689. Go SHORT. SL 4712. Target 4639.

12.41PM...NF now at 4665. Change SL to BUY price + Brokerage, so that there is no loss in the above trade.

1.35PM...NF now at 4635. Target of 4639 of my above 11.36AM call is achived.

Market Closing Report

Nifty futures traded exactly in the range of 4630-4710 indicated in my 11AM report, and closed the day at 4669, down 68 points, after touching a high of 4709 & a low of 4632.

NIFTY OUTLOOK

Nifty snapped its 7 days' consecutive rally, traded in negative throughout the day, and closed the day at 4662, down 70 points. FIIs net sold 271cr & DIIs net bought 18cr. Nifty may see a level just below 4600 in a day or two, before resuming its upclimb towards 4800.
Nifty levels for 01.09.09 Tuesday are: PIVOT 4676, R1 4717 & R2 4772, S1 4621 & S2 4580.

    arun, you can short at 4700 with a SL at 4741 for a target of 4650.

    Sir due to net problem I cant see your report & trading call today.
    I have 2 lots Nf long at average of 4700.
    Sir Plz sugest me yt to do in these 2 lots hold it or exit from it.

    musti, NF right now commands a premium of more than 10. Hold your longs, and do note to average if it falls towards 4600 again.

    musti, the fiftypointsaday team is working on shortlisting a best possible SMS site, and we should be able to start the SMS service for NF trading well before 15th of September.

    Few days back in one of u r weekly report u suggested to bUY Tata Teleservices for a target of 50 by 15.09.09.

    Now it is at 33.70. I'm planning to buy it in options. Please suggest.

    hello sir,
    I have two puts of 4600@137 and one put of 4700@175.I am holding on Nifty didnt move to 4570 rather it srarted its journey towards first support u stated correctly 4466.what next to do Hold on to puts or try to buy 4700 calls tomorrow.Can i get your morning nifty calls to benrfit from.

    Dhakak, nifty is likely to see a level just below 4600 in a day or two, when you may come out of your puts, and buy 4800 calls. Reg my NF trading calls, just keep visiting this blog after 11.30AM to find out my trading calls.

    as per ur call i shorted nf @4682 & covered it @4651.again i went short @4677 & before i could cover the mkts closed. any chance of covering nf in profit?

    Bipin, once the target set is exceeded, it is better to encash the profits & wait with cash for the next short term trade opportunity. Book the profits in Suzlon immediately.

    tvis, you may today get a chance to get out of your NF short taken at 4677 yesterday without loss. In future avoid carrying any NF position overnight.
