Nifty Futures 11AM Call
11AM...Nifty Futures opened today at 4585 against its previous close of 4623, and is currently trading at 4614. Asian cues are negative, US futures are in slightly green after yesterday's massive loss in Wall Street, and European markets may open today in negative. Nifty will have a volatile trade throughout the day today, trading mostly in negative for major part of the day, but will recover from day's low very smartly towards the end to post a positive close. Trading range for NF today is likely to be 4550-4670.
Trading Calls
11.59AM...NF now at 4659. Go SHORT. SL 4685. Target - 4609.
12.41PM...NF now at 4624. Change the SL to Sell Price + Brokerage, so that there is no loss in the above trade.
2.34PM...NF now at 4628. Exit Short & Book Profit for the day.
3.25PM...BUY NOCIL now at 28 for a Short Term Target of 35.
Market Closing Report
Nifty futures closed the day at 4618, down just 5 points, after touching a high of 4660. The morning low of 4571 remained the low of the day.
NIFTY OUTLOOK
Nifty opened today with a negative gap but very soon filled the entire gap & came into positive zone, only to fall back into negative towards the end, and closed the day at 4608, down 17 points. FIIs net sold 688cr & DIIs net bought 74cr. The last two days' trade indicates that the market treats 4750 a very tough resistance to break, which may put nifty back into Sell On Rise story.
Nifty levels for 03.09.09 Thursday are: PIVOT 4612, R1 4647 & R2 4686, S1 4573 & S2 4538.

Vaidya, avoid intraday trade in Options. If the direction goes wrong, the amount will be more than halved. Better go for intraday NF trading with SL.

Vaidya, in my intraday NF call, if the direction goes wrong, it will go & hit my SL which is usually 30 points, which means I will lose 1500 on an investment of 30K. If you take an option trade based on my intraday NF call, the amount deployed in options will get nearly halved if SL level is broken in NF call.

ReplyDeletedinesh, I have recommended OBC for cash buying for a target of 210. So till the target is achieved, hold the share. There is no SL for cash buying. If you have bought in future, hold till nifty goes beyond 4700.

htn, I am unable to comment much on positional NF holdings due to volatility observed intraday as well as intraweek. I dont recommend any one to carry overnight NF positions. When almost every trading day, an opportunity of 50 points exists, why carry an overnight position & see the swings in favour & against? You may plan your holdings in tune with my Weekly Report, going long near the lower band of the weekly range & liquidating the longs near the upper band of the weekly range. My weekly range for nifty for this week given on Saturday is 4590-4780.

Nothing to lose anyway as SL has been shifted to cost price. So hold the short till the target is achieved or revised SL is hit whichever is earlier.
ReplyDeleteMid caps are doing well. Nifty is being held with support at 4620 in veiw of the expected bounce back of Dow Jones today evening. NF can go beyond today's high of 4660. However if the current support at 4620 is left out, sudden fall below today's low of 4571 is also not ruled out. Having taken a short position, it is better to hold it with SL at cost price, so that there is no loss in this trade.
