DAILY REPORT ON NIFTY BY kadiyali - 04.09.09 (Friday)

Nifty Futures 11AM Call

11AM...Nifty Futures opened today at 4601 against its previous close of 4587, and is currently trading at 4598. It has so far recorded a HIGH of 4617 & a LOW of 4587. Asian cues are mixed, US futures are slightly in red, and European markets may open today in positive ending their 4 day losing run. Nifty will trade today RANGEBOUND within a maximum range of 60 points, and will close the day in positive with a small gain of 20-30 points. Trading range for NF today is likely to be 4580-4650.

Trading Call

12.10PM...NF now at 4585. Go LONG. SL 4554. Target 4635.

12.42PM...NF now at 4619. Change SL to BUY rate + Brokerage, so that there is no loss in the above trade of going LONG at 4585.

1.01PM...NF now at 4637. Target of my 12.10PM call to go LONG at 4585 is achieved.

Market Closing Report

Nifty futures closed the day at 4692, up 105 points, after touching a high of 4712 & a low 4583.

NIFTY OUTLOOK

Aided by short covering, Nifty today rebounded smartly by more than 100 points from its day's low, snapped its 4 days' losing streak, and closed the day at 4680, up 87 points. FIIs net sold 400cr & DIIs net sold 5cr. FIIs have been net sellers for all the first 5 trading days of this Expiry, which fact may continue to add to the weakness of nifty in the days to come.
Nifty levels for 07.09.09 Monday are: PIVOT 4653, R1 4725 & R2 4769, S1 4608 & S2 4536.

    arun, I had told you to close your shorts taken last month, and to go long it falls by 50 points below your square off rate, so as to cover your earlier loss. If you have gone long, you can close it today around 4640. If not, and if you dont have any NF positions, now on follow my intraday calls only. Of course, if NF goes anywhere near to 4700 within 2-3 days, you can take a positional short for a target of 4500 to cover your earlier loss.

    NF now has broken its morning high of 4617 & is trading at 4619. Change the SL to BUY price + brokerage, so that there is no loss in this trade of going long at 4585.

    Kadiyali, please post your calls under comment section too. Due to the quantum of messages, one has to scroll a kilometer up to view the calls. Browser is set to refresh every minute and lands up in its last position, which is the end of the message thread. Due to this, I believe, like musti1780, many might have missed the call. Thanks.

    Stop Loss of Shorts created below 4600 have taken NF to 4635 in no time. No SL being placed for shorts created above 4600 & now being created can take NF well above 4650 too.

    i have been following your calls from last 4-5 months first in MMB and now in this blog. Initially made huge loss when carried NF position overnight. Now following your intraday calls and making some profit.

    Any advice for 4400 PE as you have suggested a near term target of 4390.

    nick, due to bitter experience of April/May in our positional NF position, now I dont suggest anybody to go for positional NF positions. When intraday trade can give us FIFTYPOINTSADAY why go for overnight position & carry headache home? You will recover all your losses if you do only intraday trading.

    JKJain, you will see Muhurat Trading Crackers during Deepavali amid nifty 5000 levels. My nifty range for this month is revised to 4350-4750. For next month, we will decide the range after this month is over. At the same time, nifty may fall to 3600 anytime between 15.11.09 to 20.02.2010. Such will be the volatality, make valatality your friend & make money in market.

    Vaidya, NF has been trading till now exactly in the trading range of 4580-4650 indicated in my 11AM report. If it continues to do so for next 2 hours, carry your 4700CE to Monday. However if you are doing so, buy 2 lots of 4400PE too.

    NF now 4668. While Stop Loss of shorts created below 4600 took NF to 4635 in no time, the Stop Loss of shorts created between 4620-4640 has taken NF to 4668 from 4640 level in no time, as indicated in my 1.11PM comment above.

    Sreeram, expected short covering is over. Now shorts will be created by those who have gone long in the morning. Better carry some 4500 puts home, rather than short in nifty futures.
