Nifty Futures 11AM Call
11AM...Nifty Futures opened today at 4851 against its previous close of 4818, and is currently trading at 4826. Asian cues are positive, US futures are in red, and European markets may open in positive today. Nifty is all set for one more day of range bound trading. However profit taking due to week end considerations may pull nifty down. Trading range for NF today is likely to be 4790-4870.
Trading Calls
1.39PM...NF now 4837. Go SHORT. SL 4871. Target 4787.
1.52PM...NF now at 4815. Change the SL to Sell rate + Brokerage, so that there is no loss in this trade.
2.54PM...NF now at 4838. SL hit WITHOUT ANY LOSS.
Market Closing Report
Nifty futures closed the day at 4847, up 29 points, after touching a low of 4795. The morning high of 4862 remained the high of the day. NF traded exactly in the trading range indicated by me in my 11AM report above.
NIFTY OUTLOOK
Nifty had yet another day of rangebound trading today, and closed the day marginally higher at 4829, up 10 points. FIIs net bought 229cr & DIIs net sold 294cr. After a break out above its earlier resistance of 4750 on Monday, nifty has traded range bound for the next four days, managing a close just above 4800 for all these four days. A systematic attempt to keep nifty floating above 4800, taking non index shares to dizzy heights one by one, and distributing the same to retail at higher levels, is evident, and a voilent U turn of nifty any time now is on the cards.
Nifty levels for 14.09.09 Monday are: PIVOT 4826, R1 4860 & R2 4890, S1 4795 & S2 4761.
Sir, are we going to square off all puts as and when nifty reached 4790 level?? Or are we going hold it?

Sreeram, as it is it looks like a range bound day, and in a range bound trade, risking 25-30 points SL for a gain of 30 points not worth, unless you play it for 15-20 points gain without SL, playing with the trend.

Haldar, target has already been given in my call above. It is 4787, some 8 points below day's low of 4795. Since it is a rangebound day, prospects are not much. As SL has already been changed to the cost price, we have nothing to lose in holding on to the position.

the time gap between the call from blog and entry level eats away 10 points. Added to the agony the information available in nseindia.com as well as ndtvprofit are with time lag of 2minutes. Within that period the entire table turns to our negative side. I hope that once the sms services starts the first mentioned odd possibility will be solved. Can you suggest anywhere in the net we can get rates with a time lag of atleast 15-30 seconds

Today I bought 25 SUN at 279.00 and also booked my loss in 4500 PE at 18.15 (bought at 24.90) and decided not to do option trade again as the loss and tension is more in this compared to the gain. Awaiting your ever-achieving calls in shares to buy in cash.
