DAILY REPORT ON NIFTY BY kadiyali - 10.09.09 (Thursday)

Nifty Futures 11AM Call 

11AM...Nifty Futures opened today at 4865 against its previous close of 4817, and is currently trading at 4883. It has so far recorded a HIGH of 4889 & a LOW of 4862. Asian cues are positive, US futures are in green, and European markets may open just flat today. NF is likely to trade today in the range of 4760-4900.

Trading Calls

11.15AM...NF now at 4883. Go SHORT.  No SL.  Target - Later.

12.39PM...NF now at 4843. Put the SL at Sell Price + Brokerage, so that there is no loss in the above trade.

1.03PM...NF now at 4830. Decide your Target, taking into account today's FIFTYPOINTS + Monday's SL Hit of 25 points + any other small loss if any of this week, so that this week also will be good as last week.

3.15PM...NF now at 4808. Target of 75 points, consisting of 50 points of today + 25 points of Monday's SL Hit of 25 points achieved.

Market Closing Report

Nifty futures closed the day at day's low of 4804, down 13 points. The morning high of 4889 remained the high of the day.

NIFTY OUTLOOK

Nifty opened with a positive gap today, rose by more than 75 points in the first hour of trade, profit taking at higher levels made nifty to lose all the gains, but Nifty managed to close the day in positive for the fifth day in succession, recording its third consecutive close above 4800 level, at 4819, up just 5 points. FIIs net bought 468cr & DIIs net sold 124cr. Nifty may yield to some more profit taking before scaling towards new high.
Nifty levels for 11.09.09 Friday are: PIVOT 4839, R1 4870 & R2 4920, S1 4788 & S2 4758.

    paddy/sandip, I have not specified any SL for the NF call, because there is every possibility of the current NF high of 4889 getting broken. So if you have not shorted already, wait for that to happen, and then short without SL.

    Every 1 is making inflation as an issue. Taking that into account, if inflation data comesinto psitive after 4-5weeks, Sir dou think market will react negatively to it?

    sandip, the reason for this NF call without SL is that the market is in a heavily overbought position, and it needs to correct before going to 5000. The current low of 4853 is very crucial. NF needs to break that low within the next 10 minutes, otherwise we will see the current high of 4889 getting broken.

    Today's Game was to eat Stop Losses at both side. That is why no SL was given by me. Operators have eaten Stop Losses three times today. Hold all puts for tomorrow.
