DAILY REPORT ON NIFTY BY kadiyali - 03.09.09 (Thursday)

Nifty Futures 11AM Call

11AM...Nifty Futures opened today at 4639 against its previous close of 4614, and is currently trading at 4610. It has so far recorded a HIGH of 4645 & a LOW of 4588. Asian cues are generally positive, US futures are mildly in green, and European markets may open in negative today due to cautious approach ahead of ECB's decision on interest rates. Nifty will trade with volatility but within a small range both in positive & negative alternatively for a major part of the day, before decisively going into positive, and will close the day in positive. Trading range for NF today is likely to be 4570-4670.

Trading Calls

11.35AM...Reliance Communication recommended for Short Term Trading at 258 two weeks back with a target of 290 (Target revised to 330 two days back). First target of 290 is achieved today. Now wait for the revised target of 330.

12.48PM...NF now at 4628. Go LONG. SL 4594. Target 4678.

2.35pm...NF now at 4634. Square off the above trade & be in the sidelines.

Market Closing Report

Nifty futures closed the day at 4580, down 34 points, after touching a high of 4649 & a low of 4575.

NIFTY OUTLOOK

Nifty extended its daily negative closing to fourth straight day, and closed the day at 4593, down 15 points. FIIs net sold 72cr & DIIs net bought 382cr. After touching 2009 high of 4743 intraday on 28th, nifty has been slowly losing ground in the absence of any positive trigger, and seems to have fallen into a SELL ON RISE zone & will remain so until 4750 is taken out convincingly. Utilise any uptrend day to reverse longs into shorts for a near term downward target of 4390.
Nifty levels for 04.09.09 Friday are: PIVOT 4607, R1 4634 & R2 4674, S1 4567 & S2 4541.

  7. Sir,
Looking at the nifty and its unsuccessful struggle for the past few days to break above 4700 decisively, whats your view on the charts.Do you see the possibility of 4500 b4 4700 is taken up?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Sandip, 4700 can be taken out any time before Monday afternoon, though the risk of sliding towards 4500 always exists. Make volatality your friend & earn quick profits of 30-40 points rather than FIFTYPOINTSADAY.

  9. Okay sir, will wait for that. What is your target on nifty when europe opens today?

  12. Sir, Nifty has almost been hovering arnd 4580-4645 fr the past 3 days. Now looking at the uncertainities in world markets, the uncertain inflation data, n an upcoming weekend, dont you think , a correction is more likely by tomorrow eod? And any crrection frm these levels can take nifty to arnd 4550 or below. Do u think that can be a possibility?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Prabhanshu, if you have bought Suzlon at 83 as per my call last month for a target of 95, and if you have booked profits, you can short at current level.

    ReplyDelete
  14. No sir, I had bought suz 95ca at 1.8 and kept till expiry which went into loss.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Sirji.. NF future stuck in 12points range as of now.... is it to confuse the small investors??

    ReplyDelete
  16. Sir,Kindly advise us on an shorting range in NF . We all seem to be confused with the nifty rangedbound movements.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Sandip/Sreeram, let NF give us clear opportunity for a 50 points gain, either to go short or long.

  19. Dear Kadiyaliji: Bought 500 Balaji Tele @ 49. Now around 68.Since you said it is a multibagger. Ready to hold for a long time. Will you please tell the target and time period? Thanks & regards. Sundaram

    ReplyDelete
  20. Sundaram, for Multibagger picks I have already given the target in my homepage of Money Control. As per that you should sell 50% of the holdings when the share doubles in value, to make the balance 50% free, and this free holding should be held for long term. So sell Balaji Telefilms 250 shares when it goes beyond 98, and make the balance 250 shares free.

  21. manu, you have gained in Unitech Stock Futures by going short for the last two days. Why not go LONG for a change today & make money?

    ReplyDelete
  22. NF NOW AT 4645. IT IS TODAY A BUYING OPPORTUNITY THAN A SELLING ONE. SO DONT SHORT NF NEAR TO 4650, STOP LOSS MAY BE HIT TODAY. GO LONG NEARER TO 4610.

  25. No hurt to anybody. Lot of queries which could be avoided. If there is a trading oportunity, kadiyali will definitely post here at the right time, as he had already done in the past. Allow him to concentrate on his charts and other trading tools than spending time reading each post here. Do not pressurize him to give a call. Impatience will lead to loss. Thanks everybody for taking this message in the right spirit.

    ReplyDelete
  26. shajan/joy, call to go long already posted at 12.48PM.

    ReplyDelete
  27. yes, just seen ur call...though both my comments and ur call timings are same....anyway, thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  28. manu, you can go long in Unitech at current levels with a SL at 103.10 for a target beyond NF 4680.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I dont. I think, kadiyali Sir is professional and proficient enuf and would persue his part of research, regardless of what any 1 posts here.
And all of us who are following his advices, have our queries, which we should put forward, as there is serious money involved. Responding to the queries should be left to Kadiyali Sir's personal discretion.

No offence meant to ne 1 .
    Happy Trading. Cheers

  30. Sir, as per your recommendation it seems impossible for me to get nifty call 4700 again at 95 around.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Sir, these are my trades till now, for the day :
NF LONG 4610, sqrd off at 4645
NF long 4622, sqrdoff at 4646

Kindly suggest, if further long can be taken at 4620-30 levels?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Vaidya, you cannot be certain about market behaviour. If SL of my above call to go long is hit, you will get 4700CE below 95. Have a watch on the monitor.

    ReplyDelete
  33. SIR,
i m holding obc future bought at 184., its not moving , please advice, thanks

    ReplyDelete
  34. ir seems u have ordered obc to move up, thanks brother

    ReplyDelete
  35. dinesh, OBC is already near day's high, it has added more than 4 to yesterday's close, it is now more than 193 to your buy price of 184 in less than 3 days. What more is required for you, when nifty is struggling to get a clear upward direction? If you patiently wait you may get a level of 200 also in one or two days. OR if nifty tanks below 4600 in a day or two, OBC may even come below your buy price. It is always advisible to book profits which has come very fast, and wait for a lower level to re enter, in stock futures.

    ReplyDelete
  36. sir, i book profit in obc lot at 194.20, many thanks from dil-se, may GOD bless u

    ReplyDelete
  37. Sir, nifty has corrected from days high. Cn I go long at 4615 levels?

  40. Now 4630 is became stiff resistance...

    ReplyDelete
  41. Guys as Kadiyali suggested.. use the RANGE to BUY range support n SELL range resistance.. n earn 20-30points.. this is the way to go in volatile market.. dont expect 50points straight away..

    other thing is

we shd use Kadiyali sir.. experience and info for the direction of the market RATHER then expecting him to Spoon feed..

    i agree with sandip..

    ReplyDelete
  42. I think nifty will end her day between 4620-4630...dont know about the the last half an hour spike...which way it will go...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Dear Kadiyali Sir,
Is it right to go long on NIFTY? and if it is not going to reach 4650+ level then planing to carry to tomorrow.
    Thanks,
    Ramesh.

    ReplyDelete
  44. My belief is nifty will close arnd 4600-4620. But i wish Kadiyali Sir's targets meet up by closing.

    ReplyDelete
  45. RAMESH, NF NOW AT 4634. SQUARE THE LONG & BE IN SIDELINES.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Sir,
Can NF be longd at 4600 levels and carried on for tomorrow?

    ReplyDelete
  47. manu, come out of Unitech long too.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Sir
Your advice seems that the market going to come down, in that case what happen to Your RCOM & OBC (delivery calls) Target.Or shall i book the profit.
Please Advice, and reenter at lower price

    ReplyDelete
  49. malai, shares bought on delivery has no problem as there will not be losses if you hold on to them. In any case, since you are sitting with profits in both RCom & OBC, BOOK THE PROFITS TODAY, and re-enter at a later date if you get a lower rate.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Sir, bought nifty call 4700 at 98. Your views please. I am looking to carry over for tomorrow.

  55. Can i short NIFTY and carry to tomorrow without hedge?
    Thanks,
    Ramesh.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Ramesh, you can hold the nifty calls like 4700CE on hand. Otherwise be in the sidelines without any overnight position. There is no need for any panic.

    ReplyDelete
