WEEK GONE BY
Nifty broke out above its strong resistance of 4750 during this week on the very first trading day on Monday, but remained range bound thereafter for all the remaining 4 days of the week, managing however to get a close above 4800 for all these 4 days. It closed the week with a positive close at 4829, up 149 points. The low of the week of 4690 was touched on Monday and the high of the week of 4889 was recorded on Thursday.
WEEK AHEAD
The week ahead is going to see buyers' fatigue, as nifty could not secure substantial gains after the break out above 4750 & every attempt to scale nearer/above 4850 has met with profit taking last week. Nifty is likely to trade next week in a trading range of 4610-4860, and may post a negative close for the week.
STATEGY FOR THE WEEK
1. If you are long, properly hedge the same if you continue to hold the same.
2. If you are short, hold the short till 4650.
3. Accumulate nifty puts 4600PE below 30.
STOCK RECOMMENDATION
As already indicated in my last Weekly Report, stay invested in stocks till nifty hits 5000 either this month or next. However dont add to your portfolio unless nifty corrects substantially. If nifty goes past 5000 without any correction, book not less than 50% of your portfolio.
Buy COUNTRY CLUB (cmp 18) for long term. Target 60 by 31.07.2010.
OPTION RECOMMENDATION
My Option Recommendation for next week is a Nifty Stradle of 5000CE & 4600PE. BUY 2 lots each of 5000CE (cmp 38) & 4600PE (cmp 28) for a combined price below 60. Target for 5000CE is 70 & Target of 4600PE is 120. If target of 5000CE reaches first, sell the same & make 4600PE free. If target of 4600PE is achieved first, sell both & book the profits.

ReplyDeletereally a good strategy of meeting the profit in either way of nifty movement whether up or down. But we dont have simmilarly to our older puts, what do we do incase of nifty goes above 5000 without any correction, that is what million dollar question among our members including me ( few of them have already squared off their puts). I think you have good confidence that nifty will not touch 5000 with out touching 4500 in this series itself, am i right sir, that is why you are recommending 4600PE in every dip.
2. SInce you have asked to allocate only 50% of our capital in options & we have already exhausted it what do you suggest now?
3.Incase of monday Nifty opens with big gapdown, our 4600PE will shoot up ( haha pray god it should happen) & 5000CE will go down, in this senario do you still recommend to buy 5000CE? Plz suggest. But anyway you will be posting your trading calls but till 11:00Am you will be busy with morning report.
4. One more suggestion ( only if possible) you can also give one premarket open report & preclose report at 9:30 & 3:00 clock respectively which will help us a lot.
